The structural frame for this residence is constructed with products designed to use our planet’s resources wisely. Floor joists, floor decking, and exterior wall and roof sheathing are made from composite materials that use wood mill waste products to create stronger, straighter, and more stable lumber. Wall and roof framing was constructed in panel form in a climate controlled factory environment. This method reduces waste and minimizes the time materials sit on site exposed to the weather. Reduced weathering reduces moisture problems and associated mold and mildew issues, ensuring a more healthy environment.
